We are seeking an experienced First Aid Service & Purchasing Manager to lead and manage our first aid operations at the branch level as well as handle all purchasing for the branch. The employee will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality first aid services, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing a team of trained personnel, and continuously improving our emergency response systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and coordinate the First Aid Service team across multiple client sites.

  • Purchase all necessary supplies for the branch (these PO's will be provided by technicians)

  • Ensure all first aid personnel are properly trained, certified, and equipped for deployment.

  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and resourcing for first aid coverage at client locations and high-risk environments.

  • Manage the delivery of first aid services as part of broader emergency response plans.

  • Ensure all first aid kits, AEDs, and medical supplies are inspected, maintained, and compliant.

  • Coordinate on-site medical readiness for drills, emergencies, and client training events.

  • Oversee accurate documentation and incident reporting, as well as contribute to post-incident reviews.

  • Track and analyze incident trends to inform safety improvements and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Certification in First Aid at Work, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or equivalent (preferred but not required)

  • Additional certifications in CPR, trauma care, or advanced life support are strongly preferred.

  • 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a first aid service role

  • Experience working in fire and life safety is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE/OH&S legislation and workplace health standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • While performing functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.

  • The work also requires the following physical abilities in order to perform the essential job functions: balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive movements.

  • Must be able to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
