Security Alarm Service Technician

This position is responsible for installing, servicing, and inspecting fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems. Ensure that all systems and components are maintained according to industry standards and the operational requirements of the customer.

The pay range for the role is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour - based on experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Service burglar, access control, and CCTV systems
  
• Respond to and complete system troubleshooting and repairs
  
• Conduct routine service of systems under maintenance agreements
  
• Communicate with customers on job status or completion
  
• Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action
  
• Submit complete and accurate paperwork in a timely manner
  
• Ability to work independently on customer sites
  
• Perform other duties assigned by management
  

Education & Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in security industry
  
• Currently hold and maintain relevant Connecticut license(s) as required
  
• Exemplary customer service skills
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Strong time management skills
  
• Meet physical requirements of position
  
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new software(s)
  
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
  
• Must read and speak English
  
• Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License
  

Other Duties:

• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects 50+ pounds
  
• The work also requires the following physical abilities in order to perform the essential job functions: balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity.
