This position is responsible for installing, and inspecting fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems
  • System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards
  • Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center
  • Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment
  • Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
  • Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools
  • Perform other duties as required

Education/Qualification:
  • A high school education or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years experience inspections, field service, and/or installation preferred
  • NICET Certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines: Avigilon, S2, Honeywell, DSC, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP preferred
  • Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Maybe required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must be able to walk and stand.
  • Comfortable reaching, climbing (ladder/stairs) and bending.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate via telephone.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
